[00:40:02] <Gnea> abaumann: thank you, I hope the new iso doesn't break for anybody else

[11:24:27] <buildmaster> Hi abaumann!
[11:24:28] <buildmaster> !rq abaumann
[11:24:28] <phrik> buildmaster: <abaumann> gogo-gadgeto-strace
[11:25:07] <abaumann> Gnae: there are other methods to resolve the problem, for instance 'pacman -Syy archlinux32-keyring', 'pacman-key --populate archlinux32', this makes sure the keys on the ISO are up to date again.
[11:25:28] <abaumann> BTW, I cannot reproduce the segfault issue in gnupg anymore, no clue, what has changed.
[11:25:44] <abaumann> https://bugs.archlinux32.org
[11:25:45] <phrik> Title: FS#260 : GPG sefaults in pacstrap, and mostly all keys are not valid (at bugs.archlinux32.org)

[13:32:22] <bill-auger> i had a very similar problem making a i686 ISO for parabola - the keyring itself appers to be corrupted
[13:34:33] <bill-auger> sry not the keyring; but pacman's GPG or the pacman-key DB
[13:35:32] <bill-auger> like maybe it needs `pacman-key --init && pacman-key --populate`, while making the ISO

[16:17:48] <joakim> heeey cool this exists
[16:18:57] <joakim> Okay, so I tried asking in #archlinux about getting my internal keyboard working. I've added atkbd to /etc/mkinitcpio.conf and run 'mkinitcpio -P'. Did not help.
[16:19:27] <joakim> Using a USB keyboard for now, none of the keys really do anything except fn which wakes the display when it's blanked.
[16:19:55] <joakim> I'm running i486 on a Thinkpad 770. https://media.discordapp.net
[16:29:45] <joakim> ah, irc logs to the rescue? going to try adding i8042 to modules

[16:34:43] <buildmaster> Hi abaumann!
[16:34:43] <buildmaster> !rq abaumann
[16:34:44] <phrik> buildmaster: <abaumann> i486/moneybank is broke(n) ;-)
[16:34:59] <abaumann> bill-auger: it should not need it, but it doesn't harm probably either :-)
[16:35:06] -!- abaumann has quit [Client Quit]
[16:38:02] <bill-auger> it needs something - pacstrap and pacman did not work
[16:47:36] <joakim> Adding i8042 works, awesome!
[16:50:58] <joakim> Could the i486 iso be updated, or at least some of the pacman-key/overlayfs things be put somewhere so they could be found?
[16:51:22] <joakim> Also, i8042 is in the iso, but not in the installed system, a bit unexpected that it breaks after installing
[16:57:22] <joakim> Any ideas on how to get the trident driver for xorg? Probably have to build that myself
[17:03:23] <bill-auger> yes, its probably still in the AUR
[17:03:47] <bill-auger> you can also rebuild or remaster the ISO yourself
[17:08:13] <joakim> This is my first venture into arch, do excuse me. AUR works with what I'm running? Does pacman build the package from source?
[17:29:10] <bill-auger> most PKGBUILDs compile from source - but that depends on the PKGBUILD - some simply download blobs and wrap them for pacman
[17:30:37] <bill-auger> none on the AUR will have 'i486' in the arch=() array- you would need to add it
[17:34:51] <bill-auger> then cd into the directory where you saved the PKGBUILD, and run `makepkg -sri`
