[07:59:20] <buildmaster> Hi abaumann!
[07:59:20] <buildmaster> !rq abaumann
[07:59:21] <phrik> buildmaster: <abaumann> sometimes I get the feeling that the only thing developing fast on Linux is the number of new bugs.
[07:59:41] <abaumann> deep42thought: yes, I think I only installed keyring-archlinux and not keyring-archlinux32, quite likely.. :-)
[08:03:26] -!- abaumann has quit [Client Quit]

[11:36:17] <buildmaster> Hi abaumann!
[11:36:17] <buildmaster> !rq abaumann
[11:36:18] <phrik> buildmaster: <abaumann> it's modern software in the end.. it _has_ to compile that long in order to get good.. ;-)
[11:36:28] <abaumann> The buildmaster has quite some errors currently..
[11:48:19] <KitsuWhooa> Random thought: Would it be easy to add a clone url in https://git.archlinux32.org (and presumably the other repos)?
[11:48:20] <phrik> Title: packages - Archlinux32 package modifications (at git.archlinux32.org)
[12:00:29] <KitsuWhooa> I uh, I can't figure out how to clone it :p
[12:06:12] <KitsuWhooa> Oh, it's just the url. It just takes a while with no feedback
[12:31:48] -!- T`aZ has quit [Remote host closed the connection]
[12:33:27] <KitsuWhooa> well, I sent an email with a patch for luajit to the mailing list. Please let me know at least if it's made it through :p
[12:34:50] <KitsuWhooa> ...why did it turn the patch into binary
[12:35:08] <KitsuWhooa> > luajit/c7815e1a1b49871e645252bb12e722fb4879df11.patch: unified diff output, ASCII text, with CRLF, LF line terminators
[12:48:05] <KitsuWhooa> Either way, I sent a v2

[12:51:22] <abaumann> Hi, yes, just send the patch to patches@archlinux32.org.. the Arch32 diff sedfu we can do..

[13:55:00] <KitsuWhooa> should be ready to git am

[19:09:51] <KitsuWhooa> abaumann: I've been looking at protobuf. The failures seem to be in the unit tests, because it's comparing sizeof(void*) at some point. I get the feeling that upstream arch just changed the PKGBUILD and we're simply no longer disabling the unit tests
[19:10:43] <KitsuWhooa> There's `RepeatedFieldLowerClampLimit<cpptype, sizeof(void*)>()` with cpptype being int64_t
[19:11:08] <KitsuWhooa> and then in RepeatedFieldLowerClampLimit it proceeds to do sizeof(int64_t) <= sizeof(void*), which obviously won't work on 32 bit
