[02:01:38] <sunshavi> Hi. any experience using the var KBUILD_SCRIPTROOT?
[04:34:37] <girls> sunshavi: no, what's that?
[04:50:07] <girls> KitsuWhooa: you mean "importlib.metadata.PackageNotFoundError: No package metadata was found for meson" this one?

[05:24:43] <buildmaster> Hi abaumann!
[05:24:43] <buildmaster> !rq abaumann
[05:24:44] <phrik> buildmaster: <abaumann> that's ironic. the stack-overflow test overflows on the stack and fails the test
[05:25:04] <abaumann> So, yes. The builder and devtools32 are adapted to the naming from upstream.
[05:25:27] <abaumann> I would not build with the old devtools32 (speaking of which, I should make a new devtools32 pacman package).
[05:25:54] <abaumann> My slaves are up and running after some hardware, BIOS patch (thanks AMD!), and various trouble like a broken SSD.
[05:26:15] <abaumann> They all run the newest 'builder' git repo and the newest 'devtools32' from git.archlinux32.org.
[05:27:58] <abaumann> As for python: before the git update I was in the middle of a manual python bootstrapping (it was completely broken) and apparently still is.
[05:28:30] <abaumann> It was a very tedious process of scheduling and prioritizing one python-XX package at a time, with some 10 minutes up to 1 hour wait time in-between.
[05:29:56] <abaumann> And I still experience curl http 408 errors (now for glibc), I have no clue what this is but a broken setup of git over https..?
[05:46:34] <abaumann> Did something change in build-packages? All my build script build once, then they stop

[06:51:07] <abaumann> error: could not register 'staging' database (database already registered)
[06:51:08] <abaumann> error: could not register 'testing' database (database already registered)
[06:51:14] <abaumann> mmh. is that good bad or just a warning?
[06:51:33] <abaumann> It happend on the i486 subarchitecture, maybe that's specific to i486?
[07:12:12] <abaumann> Oh, I see, my services have to be enabled, otherwise system is not restarting them..
[07:12:21] <abaumann> (I forgot completely about that :-) )

[14:52:08] <phrik> buildmaster: <abaumann> doesn't ## uncomment the #? ;-)
[14:52:48] <abaumann> KitsuWhooa: good idea. and whoever wants to store it can still use the right mouse button and save it as..
[14:55:08] <abaumann> My build slaves are back and full steam ahead :-)
[15:15:12] <KitsuWhooa> Can't wait to see the number of failures grow faster now :p

[17:46:16] <girls> abaumann, your sed-fu adds testing and staging twice to the pacman.confs of devtools32
[17:46:22] <girls> that's, what the warning is about
[18:14:27] <girls> I'm currently going through the diffs of devtools and devtools32 and TBH: WTF, this thing has grown *a lot*. I'm really pondering to fork it and skim it down to what we really need, i.e. building packages in chroots.

[19:01:32] <buildmaster> Hi abaumann!
[19:01:32] <buildmaster> !rq abaumann
[19:01:32] <phrik> buildmaster: <abaumann> still.. I'm close to declare pacman-static the official pacman :->
[19:02:23] <abaumann> devtools32 also contains now asp32 basically. so I was trying to adapt pkgctl to also use arch32 specific patches. My build slaves are all using the adapted devtools32 atm
[19:02:30] <abaumann> so far I don't see issues..
[19:02:32] -!- abaumann has quit [Client Quit]
[19:02:39] <KitsuWhooa> too quick
[19:02:43] <KitsuWhooa> or too fast
[19:03:24] <KitsuWhooa> 08:25:27 <abaumann> I would not build with the old devtools32 (speaking of which, I should make a new devtools32 pacman package). <-- when I tried the git version, it generated blank pacman config files
[19:03:41] <KitsuWhooa> idk if you fixed it yet, but maybe hold off from pushing an update to the package yet :p
[21:41:20] -!- drathir_tor has quit [Ping timeout: 240 seconds]
[21:46:23] <KitsuWhooa> 00:46:10 <buildmaster> Your buildslave "build-tasossah-2" builds some outdated package.
[21:46:35] <KitsuWhooa> not sure what I'm supposed to do about that :p
