[00:27:52] * KitsuWhooa pokes girls
[00:28:09] <KitsuWhooa> I still have not figured out how buildmaster's get-assignment knows what packages to expect
[00:29:30] <KitsuWhooa> I did notice a few interesting scripts though. Maybe create-build-support-package somehow helps
[01:19:29] <KitsuWhooa> slight spam but I think this might be related
[01:19:32] <KitsuWhooa> [master@buildmaster ~]$ schedule-for-rebuild -w -j -p '^python-setuptools-scm$'
[01:19:32] <KitsuWhooa> python-bootstrap 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000 f7cde3df7662dc5af69f133453e299d35606554c f7cde3df7662dc5af69f133453e299d35606554c build-support
[01:19:32] <KitsuWhooa> python-setuptools-scm 09168c4f19165b5a3e2aff80c64a1da52249e7ce 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000 f7cde3df7662dc5af69f133453e299d35606554c community
[01:19:32] <KitsuWhooa> "make_source_info" did not return a "pkgbase" - eh, what?
[01:19:34] <KitsuWhooa> >curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 500<
[03:31:34] <KitsuWhooa> it magically started working
[04:40:31] <KitsuWhooa> Well, I made process. I'm now stuck trying to get the buildmaster to actually build python-jaraco.functools. It just doesn't queue it up
[04:49:02] <bill-auger> KitsuWhooa: that is probably because "not satisfiable dependency: "python-bootstrap" (make)" https://www.archlinux32.org
[04:49:04] <phrik> Title: Arch Linux 32 - python-jaraco.functools 3.8.0-1.0 (any) (at www.archlinux32.org)

[14:01:56] <KillerWasp> Seeing how they try to fix pip and take on twice the work with a second repository manager is an incredible feat. 👍
[16:05:14] <KitsuWhooa> bill-auger: interesting. I don't know why it make depends on it
[16:06:47] <KitsuWhooa> girls: also, kind reminder to please either disable rechenknecht for now or fix it
[16:07:08] <KitsuWhooa> it's failing packages with pgp errors or it can't build the build-support packages
[16:07:20] <KitsuWhooa> which means I have to keep re-queueing up packages and hope they run on my builders
[16:11:40] <KitsuWhooa> > 2024-01-06 16:11:34: building package "python-jaraco.functools"
[16:11:43] <KitsuWhooa> it queued it up now
[16:13:49] <KitsuWhooa> And it failed to build
[16:13:56] <KitsuWhooa> ...because of `ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'jaraco.functools'`
[16:13:58] <KitsuWhooa> ?!?!?!
[16:24:17] <KitsuWhooa> guess I'm shoving it in python-bootstrap too

[18:31:44] mavicaway is now known as mavica
[18:35:21] <bill-auger> and why do we need his funky tools anyways?
[18:37:28] <KitsuWhooa> because everything under the sun depends on it :p
[18:37:37] <KitsuWhooa> and everything under the sun depends on working python
[20:49:48] <KillerWasp> even kernel depend of python... is what i read in something side...
